Above is an image (color and negative to bring out detail) of a teracotta sealing depicting a Ptolemaic ruler wearing the Nemes crown and stylized beard.
Diameter: 17mm diameter
Obverse: Ptolemaic ruler wearing the Nemes crown and stylized beard. Bust facing right.
Two letters visible: in front of face (in right field) a Gamma;
behind head (in left field) Letter B?
Reverse: Shows imprint of papyrus strands

This is similar to the type: Petrie #283 and to one on an unpublished papyrus that in 1979 or 1980 was at the Bancroft Library at the University of California at Berkeley, California, USA. Bancroft sealing image.

The two letters may represent a date or part of one (year [?]3, or simply year 3). They may refer to an officer of the state such as "Basilikos Grammateus." [1]
